The 30-day trade journal challenge
Discipline is a habit you can build. Thirty days, one small task at a time, starting with the one below.
Dashed days are weekly reviews.
Day 1 task
Write down your last five trades from memory or your broker history: entry, exit, size, why you took it and how it ended. Notice what you cannot remember — that gap is why the journal exists.
The four weeks
Week 1 · Log every trade
Entry, stop, size, the reason you took it and the result. No trade goes unlogged, winners or losers.
Week 2 · Fix your risk
Pick one risk per trade (for example 1% of the account) and size every position from the stop distance before you enter.
Week 3 · Tag your setups
Give each trade a setup tag (breakout, pullback, range) and see which tags keep losing money.
Week 4 · Review the numbers
Win rate, average win against average loss, and the one mistake you repeated most. Then decide what to drop.
For education only, not financial advice. Trading crypto carries a high risk of loss.
